Teolo

Teolo, in the heart of the hills.
Lying among the most beautiful of the hills, Teolo has since ancient times been chosen as a pleasant place to live thanks to the salubriousness of its air and its easily defended position.
Today, Teolo is the starting point from which to enjoy enchanting landscapes and sites such as the noteworthy Benedictine Abbey of Praglia, and the Monte della Madonna Sanctuary.
The Abbey of Santa Maria di Praglia is one of the oldest monasteries of the region. The wide complex includes a fine Renaissance church (1448) with frescoes and paintings of Venetian school, the old library, cloisters, the medieval monastery with ancient refectory. A guided tour is available for free.
